Andrey Karagodin is a Doctor of History, certified gardener and landscape designer, the Moscow State Lomonosov University (Faculty of History) and the Leiden University (the Netherlands) Alumnus. For many years he worked as the Text chief of Vogue Russia and delivered lectures on history in the Moscow State Lomonosov University. Keen on the history of late Imperial Russia and Russian tradition of garden design.
Gardens have been his passion since childhood and became a profession in 2013 when he obtained a certificate of the Moscow Lomonosov State University Botanical Gardeners's School as well as decorative and orchards dendrology programs. Besides consulting in the field of garden design, he still works as a history lecturer at the Moscow State Lomonosov University, a contributor to Vogue Russia and a columnist for many Russian newspapers and magazines writing about parks and gardens.
